IV-8-1. Network Connectivity

IV-8-1-1. Ping

Ping is a computer network administration utility used to test whether a

particular host is reachable across an IP network and to measure

the round-trip time for sent messages.

Destination Address

Enter the address of the host.

Execute

Click execute to ping the host.

IV-8-1-2. Trace Route

Traceroute is a diagnostic tool for displaying the route (path) and measuring

transit delays of packets across an IP network.

Destination Address

Enter the address of the host.

Execute

Click execute to execute the traceroute

command.
